Happy Thanksgiving

Ok, i'm late but hope everyone had a happy turkey day. i didn't have turkey, but instead made roast pork loin stuffed with dried plums a.k.a. prunes. (i know what you're thinking, but it was YUMMY). It's been a loooong weekend for me and I find it hard to focus on work now. I think i'm most creative at 2am in the morning, right about the time when I start getting sleepy. Oh well, guess i won't get anything done tonight. but *sigh* i'm bored at the moment. this autumn season is getting old. it better start snowing or something. i'm tired of sun/cloud/rain/sun/cloud/rain.

it was actually nice to have a friend visit for the weekend, even if i had nothing to say to her by day 3. i'll mention no names. but seriously, i believe in the 3-day rule. if you ever visit someone you aren't that close with, make sure not to stay longer than 3 days, because the conversation gets really boring. the only highlight was that we went after-thanksgiving day shopping. WOW i don't think i've ever done that before. it's crazy, but we got sweet deals!! well worth waking up early (10:30) to go. dude i scored!! i can't believe the luck i had; i kept looking at the stuff i bought on the way home.

today i was reading tobacco policy articles and was struck with the idea suddenly of getting a J.D. as well. isn't that crazy? LSAT is just like the GRE right?? no prob!! then i can be in school until i'm 30. maybe i should apply just for fun. at least it will keep me busy so i don't spend time daydreaming about stuff that will never happen in real life..
