this and that
I can't believe I have homework every week. Isn't that a little too extreme considering this is grad school and everyone is supposed to get A's and B's? And wow everyone is so anal, they actually want to meet and do homework together. Then they spend so much time discussing details that we don't need to understand for our answers. Next week I'm just gonna hang out in the library. It's so peaceful in there. I realized that I never studied at a library before during undergrad.
We finally have a TV, free cable and DVD player now, so I'm all ready for the coming winter. Actually since we got the TV i've been doing all my work on the couch—just like being back at home. I've got no desire to go out anymore since everyone I meet is female or gay or both. I can't wait til autumn starts so that all those CA boys will stop wearing shorts and sandals
This weekend I ran into some guy at a party who went to Berkeley, but I couldn't figure out WHY I recognize him. He just had acne scars on his face which seemed awfully familiar. Of course I didn't say hi cuz he wasn't attractive. Plus he didn't act like he recognized me. It's scary how many Berkeley peeps are out here, especially the annoying types. Speaking of annoying, there's also the snobby New England girls who think they are keepin' it real b/c they come from wealthy backgrounds but have experience working with disadvantaged urban teens. And then they are rude to me for no reason. I don't get it. I think I'm just gonna stick with hanging out with the minorities.

What's up T! Happy to hear that you are blogging! What's up with the heightened security, do you have stalkers already? I know how you feel, I always feel like my blog is boring. But yours was interesting! Hot teacher, too bad he's married, dang! But at least there's hope that there are some cuties out there. Sorry you're not meeting cool people yet, you just have to keep getting out and away from campus.
