an offensive encounter...

The other day I was walking home from the library, and was approached by a scruffy man in his 40s. I was sure he was gonna ask me for change, so I slowed down but
did not come to a complete stop. He looked at me with a straight face and asked "Do you know where Fu Man Chu lives?" I was shocked! and pissed, of course. I wanted to cuss him out, but that would be too predictable. He probably gets off on pissing people off. So I just said "Up your ass and around the corner!" and I kept on walking for fear he would beat the shit outta me. But he didn't. I guess he was taken aback, because all he did was laugh this sarcastic laugh, like "OH HAHAH you are SO GOOD!" I wanted to
whack him in the head with my umbrella. I can't believe stuff like this still happens to people. I have no sympathy for Americans who say it was so hard to travel in China because they kept getting called "foreigner" and then they get all emotional about it.
Suck it up! Now they know how we feel.
